Design

This site has been optimised for viewing at a minimum screen resolution of 800 x 600 within the following browsers or, their corresponding higher version numbers:

• Internet Explorer 6.0
• Netscape Communicator 7.2
• Firefox 1.0
• Opera 8.0
• Safari 2.0

All pages are built to comply with the XHTML 1.0 Transitional standard.

This site has been build using CSS for layout. Tables are used for data display purposed only, and include extensive descriptive mark-up to aid comprehension.

All images used on this Web site have suitable alt attributes (or empty alt attributes for purely decorative items). Text equivalents have been provided for every non-text element, ALT tags provided for all images and long descriptions for charts and graphs.

The text within the content pages has been set to relative sizes, which can be increased or decreased for more comfortable reading.

Frames are not used on any pages.

Semantic markup has been used as extensively as possible. Describtive header tags have been included on all pages to help viewers orient themselves as much as possible.

JavaScript is kept to a bare minimum on this site, and has been designed to ensure that all content remains usable even if JavaScript is not enabled or not supported in your web browser.

AccessKeys

This site does not use the accesskey attribute by default. At the current level of support, Accesskeys often clash with keys set aside for use on assistive technology or on the browser causing further accessibility obstacles.
